Job Listing: Community Organizing Specialist/ Curriculum Developer

About the Role:
Help us train the next generation of community organizers in Prague! We’re recruiting a Community Organizing Specialist to design, align, and evaluate a training curriculum tailored to local community organizing needs as part of an international Erasmus+ project (3 partner countries). This is a unique opportunity to shape the training of future community organizers, co-create learning methodologies, and contribute to the growth of local civil society within an international framework.

Training: “Community bridges” in Prague 7
We would like to invite you to a five-workshop training programme, which will train residents and those interested in Prague 7 to become “Community bridges” for the neighbourhood. The workshops will dive deep into 5-key-focus areas of strengthening community connections:
1. Learn the know-how of Prague 7 neighbourhood–October 19 (Monday) from 18-21 hrs at Přistav 7
2. Communication skills–October 20 (Tuesday) from 18-21 hrs at Přistav 7
3. Stress management and burnout prevention–October 23 (Friday) from 18-21 hrs at Studánka-Komunitní prostor Letná.
4. Fundraising for local projects–October 26 (Monday) from 18-21 hrs at Přistav 7
5. Roadmap and workflow creation–October 27 (Tuesday) from 18-21 hrs at Přistav 7
With expert facilitators, participants will explore, learn, and practice skills to act as “Community bridges” to support newcomers in the neighbourhood, including both Czechs and residents with a migration background, to strengthen the community. All workshops are free.
